BSR02. Fat East Coast - Bisexual Harassment/Analog Snobbery - Out now!

Bisexual Harassment is the bounce in your step, the ass-wiggle of the girly girls. With a bumping funky techno bassline, some stabs and random noise, it teases and gradually works itself - and the dancefloor - into a rabid frenzy. Analog Snobbery builds a mountain of sound from a thunderous beat. With a bassline that creeps along like a giant lumbering monster on hallucinogens, squiggly techno bits, peak-time stabs and just the right amount of dub-style delay, the result is a tool to pound a dancefloor into happy oblivion. Truly the bastard grandchild of acid house.

Once again the man behind the mayhem is Matthew Hiscock, this time under a moniker that pays homage to the portly nature of his birthplace and Canada's easternmost province, Newfoundland and Labrador.

BSR01. Bootleg Soundsystem - Human Language ep - Out now!

Human Language - is a twisted, thumping cut with a bleepy, acid-tinged analog melody over a fat bassline and a slight proggy tinge. On the flip The Cows Come Home toughens things up a bit with a Moguai-esque electro riff doing the damage over thick analog stabs and a trebly but hard "whahhh-whahh" pad. Charted #9 by Slam, Feb 05.
